Biogas Pipeline Project

 

We were hired by the University System of New Hampshire for their biogas pipeline project ffrom Waste Management Turnkey Landfill in Rochester, NH to UNH’s Durham campus. This 3-year project involved identifying routes, negotiating easements, licenses, and working with property owners, abutters, municipalities, the contractors and university staff. A major component of the work was securing agreements with NH Department of Transportation and the Pan Am Railway for the 13+ mile routing.  A design-build team of RH White Construction with McGuire Engineering implemented a directional drill approach which minimized wetlands impacts by boring under them.  This greatly expedited the permitting process and dramatically shortened the construction timeline.  Visit their website at ____@unh.edu.
