NAM Sells Concord, NH Warehouse

 

The former warehouse distribution center of Capital Distributors, Inc. at 114 Hall Street, Concord, NH has been sold to Elmwood Industrial Park, LLC. The 45,000 SF building is leased to Machine Craft Corp as well as Michaud Distributors. NAM was the broker for this transaction.

 

NAM Sells Manchester Apartment Building

 

A 21 unit downtown apartment building at 144 Lake Avenue, Manchester, NH was sold to Fair Deal Enterprises Inc. The 17,200 SF building sold for $800,000. It was previously owned by Renwood Properties NH, Inc. NAM handled the transaction.

 

Bill Norton named LCHIP Director

 

Bill Norton, CRE, FRICS, president of NAM, has been appointed by Governor John Lynch and confirmed by the Executive Council as a Director of the New Hampshire Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP). 

 

LCHIP is an independent state authority that makes matching grants to NH communities and non-profits.  The intent of the program is to conserve and preserve cultural and historical resources through the acquisition of lands and  buildings in partnership with the state's municipalities and the private sector.

 

Bill Norton Joins Elite Corps of “Fellows” of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

 

Bill Norton, CRE and FMA, has been designated a “Fellow” (FRICS) of the London-based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the largest professional body for property, land, construction and related environmental issues worldwide. 

 

Through a unique agreement with the U.S.-based Counselors of Real Estate organization, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) invites only select members through its “Eminent Practitioner” route.  With the FRICS designation, Bill joins an elite corps of individuals who represent only a fraction of one percent of the 110,000 global membership of RICS. 

 

“This honour is greatly appreciated as we expect more and more of our work to involve international tenants, owners or buyers,” says Bill.  “Membership in the Chartered Surveyors gives us access to leading real estate professionals throughout the world.”

 

NAM Sells Graphic Packaging

 

Graphic Packaging International, Inc. (GPI) sold their 226,860 SF industrial plant on 510 Hall Street in Bow, NH, for $4,750,000.  Bill Norton, president of NAM, brokered the sale along with Martin Arnold of Colliers Cauble in Atlanta, GA. 

 

GPI is a leading provider of paperboard packaging solutions for a wide variety of products to multinational consumer products companies.  The property was sold to Barley Equities, an affiliate of National Beverages Properties, Inc.  Capital Distributors of Concord will lease the entire building.
